About the drip
What the Double Detox Drip is
The same formulation as the Detox Drip with twice the glutathione: 1,200mg rather than 600mg. Everything else, including the saline base, vitamin C and B complex, is unchanged. This is the drip for people who have had the 600mg version and want the higher dose, or who have had 1,200mg elsewhere and want it prepared in a pharmacy.
It is given as a single infusion; the glutathione is added to the bag or given as a push at the end depending on the prescriber's preference. We will confirm the method at your consultation.

What to expect

Settle in
You will be seated in a reclining chair in a private treatment room.

The cannula
A trained clinician inserts a small cannula, usually into the arm or hand, and connects the infusion. Most people describe a small scratch and nothing more.

The drip
You are free to read, work or rest while the drip runs. We check on you throughout.

Afterwards
We stay with you for a short period afterwards. You can drive, work and carry on with your day immediately.

Safety and suitability
Every IV infusion at FastHeal Clinic Woking starts with a consultation and health screening. A prescriber reviews your medical history, current medicines and any allergies before anything is prepared. Some people should not have an IV nutrient infusion, including anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with kidney disease, heart failure, or certain metabolic conditions, and anyone under 18. If we are not confident an infusion is appropriate for you, we will say so and suggest an alternative.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between this and the Anti-Ageing Drip?
Both contain 1,200mg glutathione and a B complex. This drip adds vitamin C and costs £180; the Anti-Ageing Drip has no vitamin C and costs £205. If you are choosing on ingredients alone, this is the better value.
Can I have this every week?
We do not recommend it without a clinical reason. The prescriber will advise on spacing.
Are there side effects?
Most people have none. A cool feeling in the arm, mild nausea or a sulphur-like taste can occur and pass quickly. Rarely, IV glutathione has caused breathing difficulty in people with asthma, which is why we screen for it.
