About the drip
What the Anti-Ageing Drip is
A high-dose glutathione infusion with a B complex and no vitamin C. Glutathione is the body's main intracellular antioxidant; antioxidants neutralise reactive oxygen species, which are one of the mechanisms involved in cellular ageing. That is the reasoning behind the name.
What we can say with confidence is what the drip contains and how it is given. What we cannot say, because the evidence is not there, is that a glutathione infusion changes how your skin looks or how you age. The ASA has ruled against clinics making skin appearance claims for IV drips, and we will not make them. If your interest is skin, our pharmacists can point you to treatments with better evidence.

Who books it
People who want the highest glutathione dose we offer without vitamin C, often because they are already taking vitamin C or have a reason to avoid it, and people who have had glutathione infusions elsewhere and want a pharmacy-prepared version. If you have no reason to avoid vitamin C, the Double Detox Drip contains the same glutathione dose plus vitamin C for £25 less.

What to expect

Settle in
You will be seated in a reclining chair in a private treatment room.

The cannula
A trained clinician inserts a small cannula, usually into the arm or hand, and connects the infusion. Most people describe a small scratch and nothing more.

The drip
You are free to read, work or rest while the drip runs. We check on you throughout.

Afterwards
We stay with you for a short period afterwards. You can drive, work and carry on with your day immediately.

Safety and suitability
Every IV infusion at FastHeal Clinic Woking starts with a consultation and health screening. A prescriber reviews your medical history, current medicines and any allergies before anything is prepared. Some people should not have an IV nutrient infusion, including anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with kidney disease, heart failure, or certain metabolic conditions, and anyone under 18. If we are not confident an infusion is appropriate for you, we will say so and suggest an alternative.

Frequently asked questions
Will I see a difference in my skin?
We do not claim you will. Glutathione is marketed for skin in some countries, mostly for lightening, which we do not offer and which has poor evidence and real safety concerns at the doses used abroad.
How many sessions are recommended?
There is no clinical protocol for healthy people. Some clinics sell courses. We prefer to discuss what you are hoping for at the consultation and be honest about what a course is likely to achieve.
Why does this cost more than the Double Detox Drip?
Pricing is set per formulation rather than per ingredient. On ingredients alone, the Double Detox Drip is the better value, and we will tell you that at consultation.
